00 AM Manufacturing Supervisor (3rd Shift) Summary/Purpose Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results through coaching, counseling and disciplining associates; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Provide l eadersh i p to manufacturing department cons i s t i ng of team leaders and t e c hnicians . Support an annual operating plan for department to support company operating planning cycle . S upport capital and e x pen s e budget requirement s . Be a cc ountable to operating plan and financial c ommitment s. Lead improvement activities for quality , delivery , cost and safety objectives . Identify training and development needs for department team members. Support continuous improvement through Kaizen and leading positive change . Support company policy and administer fairly and consistently. Facilitate good communications with Team Leaders and team members for establishing expectations and problem resolution. Maintain efficiency through lean manufacturing principles, human resource planning and flexibility. Other duties as assigned by management. Supervisory

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. o Superviso r y knowledge in a manufacturing environment o General understanding of highly sophis t icated equipment and software o General under s tanding of mechanical blueprints and e l e ctrica l diagrams o Und e rstanding of quality assurance system o General understanding of cutting tools and material ( ma c hining) o General understanding of production control in ma s s-production manufacturing o Solid problem solving skills using a variety of statisti c al and root cause tools o E xc ellent written and oral communication skills o E x perience with lean production c oncepts and tools o Positive attitude to support c ompan y policies and flexibility with new ideas and different environments o Mot iv ational and supervisory s ki lls in l arge group and train others o Ab ili ty to work overtime and weekends when necessary o Ab ili ty to deal with stress and emergency situations o Highly motivated and high energy leve l o Understand and i mplemen t IATF1 6 949 and ISO 14001 as a foundat i onal principle of op e rations o Able to learn to operate and maintain various equipment at an ac c eptable level with emphasis on quality , IATF 16949 , standard , ISO 14001 standard, safety/environmental, housekeeping and productivity. o Abl e to perform in a team environment. Experience:
Associate's Degree and/or 5
years of experience in mass-production manufacturing. 3
years of Supervisory experience or more preferred Work Environment/Physical Demands:
