Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of cellphone towers.
Requirements of a Traveling Construction Superintendent Must be proficient in operating computer technology as it relates to business use.
Review scope of work Creating and maintaining a culture that values safety, health, and cleanliness.
Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as site superintendent Maintain client relationships utilizing strong communication skills Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestone dates, and overall schedule completion date is met.
Obtaining all inspections and ensuring that the quality aspects of the physical work are fully documented.
Be able to operate equipment and maintain equipment (excavator and skid steer loader main two) Must be able to form, place and finish concrete.
Knowledge of sub-trades and ability to manage crews The ability to travel the Southeastern USA :
100% DOT Physical and DOT Drug Screen 10 year MVR Benefits of Traveling Construction Superintendent Salary $60,000-$65,000 Annually $40 a day Per diem Paid weekly Benefits Vacation Company Vehicle Paid travel Hotel Provided Home Weekends Responsibilities of Traveling Construction Superintendent Participates in the development and final review of scope, buy-out and schedule.
Informs project manager of any major problems or changes on the job.
Maintain and review punch list processes to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner.
Reports to the Project Manager on a daily basis, especially when there are any occurrences that can affect the successful completion of the project.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves problems on projects before they become major issues.
Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
Complies with all policies and procedures.
Keeps timecards and turns them in to office manager.
Works in partnership with the project manager to identify and address issues of constructability or lack of scope during the preconstruction phase.
Exceeds client expectations for each project by understanding client needs, wants, preferences and culture.
Coordinates and supervises all construction activities and maintains an organized job site.
Understands all of the contractual obligations of the plans and specifications for their project.
Oversees all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control and a clean site.
