Summary The Manufacturing Technician operates production equipment, as well as assembles applicable components.
Manufacturing technicians must closely follow guidelines, blueprints, and/or diagrams of the products being manufactured; this is important to ensure that all the necessary product specifications are met and comply with the company's standards Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under minimal to no supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
Work collaboratively with team members in the fabrication, assembly, integration of aircraft parts and components.
Work to manufacturing project planning and scheduling timeline to assure execution and delivery of products and services.
Use tools to perform tasks, including but not limited to drills, angle motors, shears, drill press, and pneumatic hand tools.
Assemble and integrate assemblies, and electrical and plumbing hardware as required.
Performs assembly operations such as trimming, filing, drilling, riveting, reforming and fitting of parts and details, and removing burrs or other surface imperfections, as required.
Perform manufacturing tasks per job work instructions, record data and procedural information.
Work with manual mill, band saw, router, belt sander.
Exercise discretion in determining and interpreting most efficient manufacturing process.
Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
Inspect own work and identify and report non-conformities Perform equipment duties in accordance to standard operating procedures.
Assist with daily manufacturing operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3 years of aerospace experience.
FAA licensed A&P (airframe) mechanic highly desired Required Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Reasoning Ability:

Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Other Abilities:
Must be able to use shop tools, handbooks, tables, and charts.
Must know proper rakes and clearances of tool bits and drills.
Must have proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, tape measre, indicators, etc.
Must be able to read and interpret detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, technical manuals, work orders and similar authorizing documents.
Must have experience in all elements of manufacturing fabrication, from plat pattern layout to assembly, integration, and test.
Must have general knowledge of practices and procedures to fabricate, assembly and integrate metallic parts.
Must have working knowledge of build-to-packages and assembly drawing documents.
Physical Demands/ Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand and sit 6 to 8 hours a day.
Must be able to work with their hands, arms and be extremely accurate.
Must be able to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl on a regular basis.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving high-speed machinery and mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
outside weather conditions, machine oils, metal fillings, acetone, paints, solvents, grease, cutting fluids, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock or vibration.
