Manufacturing Engineer

Role Summary:
The Process Specialist / Process Engineer performs engineering associated with the manufacturing process. In the role of Process Specialist / Process Engineer, you will make a lasting impact on the operations of the plant by enabling manufacturing uptime, cost reduction, and increased product quality. Your contributions will range from manufacturing support to new production introduction and new process development.
Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, as the Process Specialist / Process Engineer, you will:
+ Practical analytical problem solving skills
+ Provide tooling and equipment support for production areas
+ Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and technical documentation
+ Drive efforts to support and meet production schedules, including productivity, quality and Six Sigma initiatives
+ Take responsibility for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes including safety, quality, Lean and six-sigma development in assigned areas
+ Utilize Lean principles and participate in action workouts to improve product cost, throughput and quality
+ Display a dedicated, team-oriented work ethic with personal ownership while having a goal-focused mindset
+ Possess a strong desire to grow and learn new manufacturing processes and possess ability to know when to seek help
+ Have flexibility in hours /shift of work; ability to flex schedule for training and/or shop coverage needs
+ Flexibility to work an off shift position
+ 1 opening on 3rd shift: 11 PM to 7 AM Mon-Fri
+ 1 opening on 5th shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Fri-Sat / Sat-Sun / Sun-Mon
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor?s degree in engineering or related field; or an Associate?s degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field and 2 years of manufacturing experience; or a High School diploma / GED and 4 years of manufacturing experience ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
+ Ability to train at a remote location for several months
+ Ability and willingness to work an off shift position
Desired Characteristics:
+ Bachelor?s Degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Mechanical / Aerospace / Electrical / Industrial engineering
+ Advanced experience with CNC (EDM drill / sinker process, Laser Ablation processes, Creep Feed Grind) including CNC technician set up experience
+ CMM Programming experience
+ Automation / Robotics programming experience
+ Prior process / manufacturing knowledge of Airfoils and Aviation High Pressure Turbine blade manufacturing
+ Hands-on shop floor experience with experience providing technical direction
+ Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
